If you have recently switched from Windows Operating system to Linux, you must admit that it takes some getting used to for one to comfortably operate that Linux system. From experience, it took me almost three months to getting fully used to the basic operational functions. I still struggle with a few.  In this article, we look at how to access and stop processes o linux.  As a former Windows user, when the system hanged, i could simply press the key combinations CTRL + ALT + DEL to open the task manager and end processes.
