Google Phases out google podcasts

In an initial announcement,  Google informed its users that it would be phasing out google podcasts. The reason behind this action is not clear yet but it looks like it's done with. In a recent email,  google confirmed that by June 23rd, 2024 users will not be able to access google podcasts and by July 29th,  the program will be completely shut down.
