Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you are trying to install an application on your mobile device but can't?
This happens quite often with devices that have a lower storage capacity or when you have to many files in your phone's storage.
The experience can be disturbing especially when you really need to install an application.
When ths happens, it is usually because of two possible reasons:
1. The application is not compatible with the phone's system
2. Your device does not have enough storage.
How do you fix this?
The first thing that you need to do is ensuring that the application you are trying to install is compatible with your device. Usually it is indicated if you install the app through google playstore.
If the app is compatible but you still can't install it, your device memory could be the issue.
To fix this, check through the following and remove what you do not need:
1. Old applications that you rare use - Find apps that are not important to you and uninstall them to create more space.
2. Delete large files - Cjeck through your phone storage and delete large files ike videos.
3. Delete smaller files ike screenshots. These may be in take small space in terms of size but is you have hundreds of them, you can be sure to lose a few hundred megabytes.
4. Remove installations files - Sometimes you are likely to install applications using APK files which remain in your device even after the installaton process is complete. Removing these files can help you create more space for your device.
5. Delete unecessary download files that could be taking up more space.
After cleaning your device memory and creating more space, you will be able to install any compatible application.
If that does not work, try to run system updates for your android or any device in that case.
