3 Main Things To Consider Before buying  A smart phone - Ow-tech Solutions

Having a smart phone is not a problem anymore for anyone. Within the past decade, we have seen many phone companies introduce their brands into the market.

Important phone features

These ranged from very cheap phones from uncommon brands just trying to build a name to very expensive phones from companies like apple who have established a presence in the market.

Today, two different people can spend $100 and $1000 to buy a phone and still manage to get the same services. Of course the $1000 phone will have an edge in terms of performance and other features like camera quality and battery life.

These simple phones have been made to simply replicate the features of the expensive ones even if at an inferior level. It serves the purpose anyway.

What should you look for in a phone?

If you still choose your phone on the basis on the size and physical appearance, you need to do better.

There are certain important things that you might want to research on before making that order. Let's have a look at a few main ones.

1. Performance

The performance of a phone covers many aspects but the most important one is the processing power. You don't want to find yourself in a situation where you are busy trying to work on an important task and your device crushes.

The phone processor, alongside the RAM determines how much work your smart phone can do.

Some of the best phone processors today are the Apple A15 Bionis and Snapdragon 888 plus. Before making a choice of the type of phone processor know what you need, how much work you intend to do with the phone, and the types of applications you plan to install.

2. Camera Quality

The second aspect under performance is the camera quality. Now this is a variant factor and may not be of so much importance if you have mastered photo and video editing.

There are many cheap phones with even better picture and video quality than the expensive counterparts.

If you consider this an important factor, be on the lookout for the number of million pixels featured and output resolutions. Most devices feature wide angle lens cameras while more advanced ones have the ultra-wide angle cameras alongside the wide angle.

The final part of performance that you need to check out is the battery. This is crucial. If you're on a budget, just buy a phone that can last eve  just 8 hours with power. Again on this, cheaper phones seem to have a better battery life.

That could be attributed to the less advanced operating systems which puts little stress on the battery.

Some phone batteries don't reflect the given strength of a million amps per hour(mAh). For the best results, check on the customer reviews section of a website if you are buying online and read what other users have to say.

NOTE: Mobile data consumes a lot of your phone battery and can contribute to it's damage. Try to use WI-FI as much as you can.

3. Availability of spare parts

Things like chargers, phone screens, screen protectors, and batteries always seem less important when your phone is new. We never even think about ever needing them.

Before you buy any smartphone, do your research and confirm that the spares are available. Breakages and other accidental things are inevitable.

It is much easier to deal with a broken screen when you are psychologically prepared to deal with such a situation. Before making that order(If you are buying online, do a search for the brand you have selected and see if there are spare parts).

4. Smartphone brand service centers.

Have you ever bought any electronic and found it dead before even using it?

Well, that's a common things with tech items and you can't blame it on anyone, not even the manufacturer. Searching for the service centers within your country can prove important in a case where your device abruptly stops working with the first few days if purchase.

If you have a nearby call or service center, it would be easy to have your device checked out.

Most smartphone brand service centers ca be contacted through phones calls ,via an email address or by visiting the exact location if you are able to and one is accessible.

Among many other factors not listed here, some the other important things to look out for before buying that phone are the cost, design, how it will help you commercially among other things.

How to create a partition for your computer hard drive.

Why is it important to partition the drive of your system? When installing applications on your system, it is likely that at some point one of the apps may get corrupted.  This results from updates from the software or virus obtained from external storage devices like flash disks plugged in the system. Partioning your hard drive is simply dividing it into different sections which can be managed separately. If you have one drive on your system, you can create two partions and use one for the main Operating system and the other part for your backup files. This makes it easy to recover your files in case the OS becomes damaged or unusable. It is important to note that a whole drive can get damaged and you would lose all your information in that case. That means partioning alone is not enough. One best practice today is backing up your information in an external storage or using a cloud storage system like Google drive which gives free 15gb storage space.
