What consumes your Phone Battery Power - Ow-tech Solutions

One of the most annoying things anyone ever has to deal with is a phone battery that drains fast. It makes me restless.

Different mobile brands have tried to improve battery capacity but then our needs have expanded too. We play more games and watch videos on our phones than before.

There are about 4 main things that drain your battery power. Some of these do so in the background while others are day-to-day applications that you use.

So, what drains your battery power?

1. Screen brightness.

If you love using your phone with a high screen resolution, you could be a common victim of a drained battery. Get used to reducing the brightness of your phone screen when in properly lighted rooms. This will save you some power and reduce the stress of having to recharge your phone every time.

2. Background Applications

Every time you open an application and close it, it remains running in the background and consumes your phone battery. There are two ways to prevent this; First, clear all applications running in the background the moment you close them on your home screen. The second way is by setting the applications to crush the moment they close. This option is accessible from the developer options settings of an android device.

It is not always a great option if you prefer having your apps running in the background.

3. Poor data connection when using mobile data

When using a poor network, your phone strains to stabilize the connection. This means that more power is consumed. This could be unavoidable in some cases but always trying to ensure you use a stable mobile connection can be a great solution.

4. Mobile Phone Games

Video games are fun and to some, it is the best form of entertainment. It is yet one of the things that consume your phone battery. Mobile games use up a lot of your phone's memory and this means more battery power is required.

You can minimize the amount of game time if you want to save your phone battery power.

These tips can be of great help if you are always on the move and hate to charge your phone at regular intervals.

This is what I do to take good care of my Headphones - Ow-tech Solutions

Buying a headphone was one of the things I was excited about when I got my first one. Having used earphones for a long time and getting tired of the frequent cable damage, I had to make a change. The headphone was a very cheap one, the P47 wireless headphones, which is one of the most common and cheapest headphones today. I had no money but wanted to get the experience. On getting the headphone, I became a celeb in my neighborhood, all eyes on me. Let's drop the fantasizing. I used the headphone for slightly over a year. By then, the Bluetooth function was no more since the battery had been damaged, one handle was broken and patched up with insulating tape and the speakers had been repaired several times. I had no idea how to take care of the headphones. I literally learned my lesson the hard way.  From my experience, these tips can be helpful if you want to take good care of your headphones and use them for a long time. 1. If wireless, do not overcharge. If one thing is sure...
