1. Send you a link either pretending to be facebook team with claims of you going against their terms.
2. Send you a link of a fake offer.
3. Inbox you with a zipped file , usually used to get access your device or account.
4. Try resetting your account password and ask you for an One Time Password(OTP) usually sent to your registered phone number or email address.

To get the account back, you will need to either go through the nrmal account recovery and verification methods. This method does not alwasy work, especially if the hacker has already changed the email address linked to your account.
In this case, you will need to contact facebook. Here are the steps:
1. First, take a screenshot of the error page when trying to recover the account. Save it for later use.
2. Open a web browser and type "issues with Facebook homepage", from the search results, select "report an issue with Homepage or News Feed"
3. This will redirect you to a contact form where you are to provide details about your complaint. Add a subject, your contact address and a clear description of the account you are trying to recover. Upload the screenshot saved earlier.
4. Tap submit or send to share your complaint.
The second method involves providing more details.
1. Go to the browser again and type "Identity confirmation Facebook"
2. Select "Confirm your identity with Facebook" from the search results.
3. In the provided form, enter the required details and upload your ID
You can then wait for a response. Note that it takes time as they usually receive lots of requests.
