Google Unveils New Gemini AI-Powered Laptops

Google has officially introduced a brand-new category of AI-focused laptops called Googlebook, marking one of the company’s biggest shifts in personal computing since the launch of Chromebooks more than a decade ago. The new devices are designed around Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence platform and aim to create a more intelligent, connected, and proactive laptop experience. The announcement signals Google’s intention to compete more aggressively with AI-powered computers from companies like Apple and Microsoft, while also redefining how users interact with laptops in the AI era. Googlebooks are not simply upgraded Chromebooks. Instead, Google describes them as an entirely new laptop category built “from the ground up” for Gemini Intelligence. The devices combine elements of Android and ChromeOS into what Google calls a modern AI-first operating system. For years, Chromebooks focused heavily on web-based computing and affordability, especially in schools and businesses. Googleboo...

How to Stop Automatic startup for Applications on Windows

It gets quite annoying when you start your PC and some 4 random applications scramble for memory to get started before you open what you want. It gets even more frustrating if you have a slower computer or one with a lower  processing memory capacity.

The great part is that you have the option to decide what starts when you switch on your PC and what doesn't.

This setting(as presented) only works for windows Operating system.

To change startup app settings, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Windows search option(press F3 or WIndows button) and type startup

2. There will be a pop up of the startup application

3. Click on it to proceed with the necessary settings

4. Once it loads, it is simple, toggle between on and off from the list of applications listed. Ensure you only switch OFF what you do not need.

When done, you don't have to save anything as it is automatically done.

The next time you power up your PC, it will start much faster. The applications can then be started by double clicking to open.
