Before we get started, note that this method works for Windows laptops. Here are the simple steps: 1. Open Command promt on your PC. You can do this in two ways: Press Windows button + R and type CMD then press enter or click on the search bar and type Command prompt. 2. Select the command prompt option and open as an administrator. 3. When the command promt window opens, type the command  as it is "powercfg/batteryreport". Do not use the quotation marks. 4.
