"Page not responding!" This must be one of the most common lines every computer user knows. It may sound like just a simple line of text but may cause lots of problems to your PC if not properly handled.

The first thing that you need to do is to find the source of the problem.

1. Restart your PC 

Even though a restart doesn't always fix the pre-existing windows errors, using this method can help stop the extra programs thus saving memory and increasing the computer's performance.

2. Open the task manager.

A computer may hang or programs crash when you are in the middle of an important project. Switching off your computer may seem like a quick solution but it has more negatives than good. 

When in the task manager window, open task a and close all the tasks and apps you're not using.


3. Install an Anti-virus.

Computer viruses have been known to be the main threat to information stored within a laptop or desktop.

When you see such signs, Buy, download or install antivirus software, run the program and delete the threats detected. You can also run a scan for the hard disk to remove unwanted files that are likely to cause slow performance.
